Mawlaya salli wa sallim da’iman ‘abadan ‘alaa Habeebika Khayr il-Khalqi Kullihimi (My God, bless and salute, always forever: Your Beloved, the Best of the Entire Creation).

“We will show them Our signs in the horizons and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that it is the truth. But is it not sufficient concerning your Lord that He is, over all things, a Witness?” [Qur’an 41:53]

Amazing. The hippocampus, the ‘organ’ which is is involved with memories, is there. The rest of the brain is there too. Only that one small link, that one tiny ‘wire’, between the hippocampus and the rest of the brain, goes missing. Suddenly, a 27-year-old can never form new memories.

Goes to show how every tiny thing is so significant.

“You do not see in the creation of the Most Merciful any inconsistency. So return [your] vision; do you see any breaks? Then return [your] vision twice again. [Your] vision will return to you humbled while it is fatigued.” [Qur’an 67:4]

Ya Rabbi salli wa sallim da’iman ‘abadan ‘alan-Nabiyyi wa Ahlil-Bayti Kullihimi.
